Will I see results with an online fitness trainer?

Although you won’t be in the same room as your trainer, you can still have plenty of support and guidance to help you see results. Before beginning your personal training with BE, you’ll have a consultation with your virtual private trainer to help identify a workout strategy that is in line with the your goals and needs of your body, whether you’re aiming for weight loss, mobility, injury recovery, or strength training. Additionally, you will learn how to optimize your set up for your Zoom training sessions and group fitness classes. Throughout the duration of your training relationship with BE you will get ongoing support and opportunities for aligning your nutrition and lifestyle for even greater results from your fitness workouts.

Who is an ideal candidate for online personal training?

Anyone looking for added support and motivation in their fitness routine can benefit from online fitness training. Whether live or on-demand, Body Essentials provides expert and personalized coaching services that meet you where you are at and help you grow from there with fitness as the foundation and your lifestyle being the secret sauce to reaching and sustaining your ideal health and fitness goals.

How does online fitness and coaching work with Body Essentials?

All of our programs work on a monthly fee structure dependent on the program you and your coach agree on. Your coach works to create a consistent weekly schedule with you to accommodate each other’s schedule. You are expected to maintain your weekly schedule with your coach and prioritize your time slot as much as possible. We understand last minute emergencies will arise and some appointments are non-negotiable so we ask for 24 hours notice to cancel and reschedule a session. We want sessions to be made up as soon as possible in order to maintain progress and results. If you want to workout periodically, we are not the studio for you. If you want to just take group fitness classes, we are not the studio for you. We take our programming strategy seriously and do not want you to waste your money by training in an inconsistent manner. We also have contingency plans including our pre-recorded on-demand workouts as needed for a variety of circumstances.

What kind of equipment do I need to have to workout online with BE?

We will use as much or as little equipment as you have at your disposal including household items. At the very minimum a couple sets of hand weights, a resistance loop and resistance tubing, and an exercise/yoga mat are used in each and every session. Your coach can help recommend what to purchase if you do not have any bands or weights. The newer you are to exercise the less equipment you need to get started. Often times we are helping our clients use equipment they have had for years and not been using (another great advantage to training online). Household items that we can often utilize include a chair, some sort of stick (broom or sniffer handle), a towel and pillow, and any heavy piece of furniture that we can anchor a band to and a sturdy step stool. Some of our group fitness classes require more specialty equipment like a suspension trainer or a spinning bike or other piece of cardio equipment.
